Welcome to the Simple Click Tracker (SCT) plugin.
SCT gives you the ability to create and control links that redirect traffic to anywhere you want to send it all from your domain.
Links can be used to
- Shorten and clean up long affiliate links
- Create permanent links for sharing or publication, whose destination can be changed
- Create easy to remember links to profiles and reference pages
All while giving you valuable information about how many times the link was clicked, how many of the clicks were unique, and when the clicks occurred. This information is important when you are analyzing your traffic flow.
The Base version of SCT provides additional features like social media images and descriptions, a 404 report (links that are requested but not defined on the site), along with the ability to group and search for links.
The Pro version of SCT provides features like split testing, managing remote domains, funnel page management, creating users (great for adding VAs to the system), and even providing you the ability to set up SCT domains for your clients and let them manage the links.

Quick Start
Follow these steps to quickly get started with SCT
What do I need to know before I start?
To get started with SCT, you just need to know the destination link (where you want the person who clicks to end up) and what you want to use as the link from your site.
For example, if I have a book on Amazon, then I would use the link from the Amazon page for my book as the destination link. For the link from my site, I might use “book” or another descriptive word.
Managing and Grouping Links
When you add a link to SCT, you have the option to make it part of a Group and to add Category words to the link.Â
The Groups and Categories are internal only for you and can assist you in locating links that you have created.
You may want to group your affiliate links together and use the category field to add the vendor and or the product type. Then your searches will return more meaningful results.
