Welcome to the Simple Video Management System (SVMS) plugin.

SVMS lets you easily play and manage the videos for your website.

Just four simple steps that take less than 90 seconds:

Insert Link To Video – You simply copy/paste the link to your video which could be hosted on YouTube, Amazon S3, another cloud storage provider, or your own web hosting account. Takes all of 10 seconds tops for this step.

Add Your Video Title – Add the title of the video into the system so you can easily reference the video later. This title only shows to you in the backend of the plugin which is great for your own cataloging purposes. This step takes 10 seconds tops!

Choose enhancements –  Decide what special enhancements you want to use with your video to maximize the engagement, conversion, and desired results for your video content. This part should take no more than 30 seconds to complete!

Post On Your Website – This is simple: Copy and paste the shortcode or embed code provided by SVMS where you want your video to play on your site. This time can range anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 seconds.

Remember – The Embed Code Works On Any Website – Not Just WordPress Blogs!

The video code provided by SVMS can be used on any website – including Clickfunnels, LeadPages, and Shopify.

Please take a look around. We’ve put together some walkthroughs and tutorials and of course, you can always reach to our terrific Support Team if you have questions, suggestions, or challenges with SVMS.

Thanks again for installing SVMS

Quick Start

Follow these steps to quickly get started with SVMS

What do I need to know before I start?

To get started with SVMS, you just need to know the link URL) for the video you want to play. It can be from YouTube, Amazon s3, Vimeo or your own server. Add that link, the internal title for the video, click save and copy/paste the provided shortcode.

That’s it! Your video will show up on your site where you paste in that shortcode.

Managing and Grouping

Videos in the SVMS library can be assigned to groups and tagged with keywords to help you locate and manage them. When you are looking for a specific set of videos, you can filter the list of them using the “search” feature to find them by group and or keyword tag.

Using Embed Codes

To use the embed code (either iframe or raw html code), add the video as you normally would, then copy the code you need from the video edit screen (the code appears after you save the video) and then paste it where you want your video to play.

It’s that simple.

Integrations

SVMS support most of the popular list managers like AWeber, GetResponse, Constant Contact and MailChimp along with the more robust CRM services like Infusionsoft, Active Campaign, and Convert Kit. To integrate one or more of these services, click on the “Settings” tab and add the required information and complete the process.

You can then select the specific Integration you would like to use when you set up your video.

Advanced: Using Grids and Lightbox Grids

Grids and LightBox grids are advanced features of SVMS and can be very powerful. A “grid” is a set of videos that are laid out side-by-side across the screen and down the screen in rows. This looks like, well, a grid. The Lightbox grid is a grid that pops over the page and you can create a grid that contains multiple embedded LightBox videos. When the video image is clicked, a Lightbox appears with a larger video. This is great for creating a course or tutorial grid.

The best way to understand girds and lighbox grids is to add a few videos to your SVMS library and then create some grids.

Advanced Section

The SVMS Advanced Section includes:

  • The ability to “gate” the video. This forces the viewer to “open the gate” to continue viewing. In most cases the open the gate the view is asked for their name and email address, but this feature can be used to make an offer or another announcement during the video.
  • The checkbox to add the video to the lightbox and gid lists.
  • The checkbox to add the video to the Simple Autowebinar System “While You Wait” list.
  • Adding tags to a viewer’s information if they have watched a specific amount of the video.

There is more detail on these features in the user documentation on the NAMSToolkit site.
